The conference addresses issues related to improve the quality of rolling stock. Within the conference there are presented the matters of new technical solutions and designs for the rebuilding, operation and maintenance of rolling stock. There were also discussed issues to adjust the appearance and equipment of wagons to the expectations of travelers.
Diesel Loko Distribution participated in the conference, along with engineers from Miller Ingenuity – the manufacturer of seals and plastic components for railway rolling stock.
Railway Interchange is the largest fair of the railway market in North America. Industry conferences, meetings, exhibitions and presentations are organized in the framework of the fair. In total, close to 10,000 industry professionals from around the world participate in them. This is a huge event that allows for the presentation of the latest technologies, services and research for members of the Railway Supply Institute (RSI), Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association (REMSA and the Railway Systems Suppliers Inc. (RSSI). Fair Railway Interchange allow for presentations and exchange of experiences under the auspices of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) and coordinated Mechanical Associations (CMA).
Diesel Loko Distribition had the opportunity to meet with their suppliers and discuss further plans and areas of cooperation. DLD company participated in meetings and conferences, enabling familiarization with the latest developments in the railway industry.
Diesel Loko Distribution company was officially admitted to the Polish Chamber of Manufacturers and Services for Railway. The certificate presentation took place on April 8, 2015 at the XII Conference on Rolling Stock Rebuilding.
Diesel Distribution Loko had the opportunity to present its offer, among others in the use of new bearings of support to the traction motor. The “oil save” bearings have additional sealing rings to prevent leakage of oil while protecting against dirt from outside. This solution is used for many years in the West, reduces oil consumption and extend the life of both bearings and axles.
